Oud is an important essential oil that is completely irreplaceable in this blend. Révélé is a French word that adds to the beauty of this blend and translates into English as “revealed”. It’s unquestionably enlivening, but that’s an understatement: this classic perfume boasts globally-sourced ingredients that indulge, ground, and awaken.
It’s true. With base notes of Oud, Labdanum, and Cedarwood, we’ve crafted this in sacred connection with the earth and her resources. Oud is a rare and highly coveted essential oil, distilled from forest trees in Vietnam where they are inoculated by hand after 10 years and sustainably harvested. The oud itself results from a rare fungus that only infects select trees and must propagate for 2 years before its deeply-wooded scent—with hints of leather and spice—is revealed. Additionally, our oud is CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) certified, which guarantees it was legally imported.
