Infused with crystals, the Palo Santo Hair & Body Mist is a non-toxic perfume that promotes healthy tresses and warms the senses. It’s formulated with a sustainably sourced blend of essential oils like palo santo, cardamom, and peru balsam for an earthy, grounding experience.
Sourcing Sustainably
The palo santo (Latin name, Bursera Graveolens) in this formulation is wildcrafted in Ecuador and sustainably harvested solely from fallen trees and branches. We source specifically from a non-endangered species, not to be confused with Bulnesia Sarmientoi. Palo santo essential oil is extracted using vapor distillation, without the use of dangerous chemicals or solvents. This ensures a safe, eco-conscious approach without harming the land or destroying a single tree. We partner with a distributor who keeps a close relationship and connection to the family and with the local communities in Ecuador. They are committed to reforestation and giving back to the planet. Since 2008, our partner has planted over 30,000 trees back into the area and continues to support farmworkers with a fair wage. Their partnership has become a relationship that provides a lasting livelihood for the coastal communities who gather and steward this “Holy Wood” from South America.

Peru balsam has a sweet aroma with vanilla-tinged undertones. And, because it’s a rich source of benzoic acid, peru balsam is naturally cleansing and acts as a purifying veil for hair and skin.

What a dream to use this product, seriously. Such an immediate vibe change. I love to close my eyes and spray this evenly over my face and neck. I also use it as a perfume, as I do not use traditional perfumes anymore (due to their heavy toxic load and chemically-laden ingredients).
To me, it feels like it clears any stagnant energy while also grounding me at the same time. It's a part of my self care ritual in the bathroom. Spraying it before practicing yoga or doing a Melissa Wood Health workout at home is also something I use this product for.
I would recommend it for all of these uses, especially as a way to lift your vibe and transition over to a completely natural perfume. It has energy cleansing benefits and leaves you smelling incredible.
Another thing worth mentioning; I was trying to figure out what the "secret sauce" is here. Then, I realized that this has balsam in it! Balsam is one of my very favorite essential oils. I really adds an incredible depth to the scent.
