Collected from dead trees and fallen branches, these sticks provide a high-quality experience with minimal environmental impact. Consciously sourced from our friends at Sacred Wood Essence, each Palo Santo stick invites you to embrace tranquility and spiritual cleansing.
How to Use: Light one end evenly and let it burn. As the stick smolders, wave it gently to direct the smoke and set an intention. Use the smoke to cleanse your space and promote positive energy. To extinguish, press the burning end into a bowl of sand, or let it burn out naturally in a fireproof receptacle, such as a shell, glass, or ceramic dish.
Sourcing Sustainably
This palo santo (Latin name, Bursera Graveolens) is wildcrafted in Ecuador and sustainably harvested solely from fallen trees and branches. We source specifically from a non-endangered species, not to be confused with Bulnesia Sarmientoi. This ensures a safe, eco-conscious approach without harming the land or destroying a single tree. We partner with a distributor who keeps a close relationship and connection to the family and with the local communities in Ecuador. They are committed to reforestation and giving back to the planet. Since 2008, our partner has planted over 30,000 trees back into the area and continues to support farmworkers with a fair wage. Their partnership has become a relationship that provides a lasting livelihood for the coastal communities who gather and steward this “Holy Wood” from South America.

I find the smell of the unburned Palo Santo Stick to be pleasant. I looked forward to using it for the first time, however the stick once lit by match did not "smoke" for me. The stick just stops burning within a minute. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I read online it should smolder for about 30 minutes. As suggested, perhaps re-lighting it a few times will work? I'll keep trying!
